I had never heard of this song (clearly - I said ivory and not holly!) so I had to apply my own teachings to myself and get it done! I listened to a few versions yesterday throughout the day, as well is a few more times before recording. Then I went to the piano to get the melody shape down. Then I found the chords because I recognised their progression. This is a first take but correct enough for you to learn it quickly too! And just because it's a Xmas song doesn't mean the theory doesn't apply to all other jazz repertoire... it does!
