I guess a lot of you got new instruments for Christmas so I wanted to make a pretty long video (with timestamps) explaining how and why you should spend time on what could be called 'dry drills', so that your actual musical playing can improve tremendously. The balance between dry and musical need only be 80/20 or even 90/10 but you must spend some time doing hardcore drills on chord, scale, endurance and finger independence stuff! I did.
